About Me
Hi, I'm Roxy.
I'm a licensed clinical social worker who helps individuals and couples move through life's challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and connection. My work is grounded in warmth, collaboration, and practical tools you can use long after our sessions end.
My Story
I've always been drawn to understanding people — what motivates us, what holds us back, and what helps us heal. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years listening to people's stories in different settings, and I kept seeing the same truth: most of us are doing the best we can with what we have, and sometimes we need support to find a better way forward.
Therapy became my calling because I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel seen, understood, and empowered to create change. Whether you're navigating anxiety, healing from trauma, or working through relationship challenges, you don't have to figure it out alone.
Why I Became a Therapist
I became a therapist because I've witnessed how transformative the right support can be. I've seen people go from feeling stuck and overwhelmed to building lives that feel authentic and meaningful — not because therapy magically fixes everything, but because it offers a partnership in understanding yourself more deeply.
What drives me is helping clients move from surviving to thriving. I love seeing someone realize they're capable of more than they thought, develop skills that actually work, and build relationships that feel nourishing instead of draining.
My Approach
Therapy with me isn't about sitting in silence or only venting about your week. We work together to understand what's keeping you stuck, heal what needs healing, and build practical skills for lasting change.
- Feel less overwhelmed by anxiety and stress
- Build healthier, more fulfilling relationships
- Heal from painful experiences at your own pace
- Develop confidence and self-compassion
- Learn tools you can use in everyday life
I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, EMDR, positive psychology, and mindfulness — but always tailored to who you are and what you need.
